I feel honoured to have been invited by The Committee of The Northern Provincial Bull Terrier Club to judge their Open Show. Thank you for the lovely atmosphere and professional help of my ring stewards. Biggest thanks, however, goes out to all competitors that brought their beautiful exhibits for me to go over.

Puppy Dog (2)

White heavyweight male, what a powerhouse at just 9 months old! Long head with gentle profile, good pigmentation and keen expression. Good length of neck flowing into a well laid shoulder. Deep brisket with elbows tucked right under. Clean cat feet. Good topline ending in a well set on tail. Lots of bone and substance all over. Moved well both ways with good drive from his well angulated rear BP, BD, RBIS
Junior Dog (1)
1.JD Tate's Admiral Comet
ADMIRAL COMET Shapely, compact young white dog with black ear marks, a touch too lean. Very powerful head with plenty of fill and fantastic expression. Roman finish. Small erect ears. Mouth OK. Would like a touch better lay of shoulder. Good bone and tight, neat feet. Short back, decent rear angulation. Moved better coming than going.

CALKOBULL EAGLE CRY Ultra short brindle & white boy. Good bone and substance for size. Lovely head with beautiful turn and fill. Small wicked eye, well set on ears. Perfect mouth. Correct front assembly, tight feet. Good topline and well angulated rear. Movement hard to assess.
2 ND, Brown's Javarke Jay Jay

Upstanding elegant brindle & white boy. Long head with smooth profile. Correct dentition. Ears set a touch wide. Good length of neck. Straight front into most beautiful cat feet. Lovely depth of brisket with a good tuck up. Could use a touch better lay of shoulder. Decent topline held on the move. Good drive from his correct rear end.

2 year old rich brindle & white boy. Correct head, minor mouth fault. Ears bang on top. Straight front, could use a touch better angulation in his shoulder. Deep chest. Decent topline, tail high set. Well bent stifle landing into straight hocks. Moved a touch closer behind.

Upstanding 6 year old white male with brindle eyepatch. OK head with ears up at all times. Lovely expression. Ultra short back, over roaching at loins onto a high set on tail. Strong bone, straight front and tidy feet. Would like a touch more angulation both ends. Moved OK.

BLUEPOINT PATCHOGUE 8 year old. Ultra typey, compact white male with eyepatch. Sweeping profile with good depth of muzzle. Lovely length of neck. Decent front angulation, good bone for size. Short back ending with a well set on tail. Well angulated with straight hocks. Moved well both ways. BV

Pretty white young girl with brindle head marks. Super head with plenty fill and a smooth profile. Perfect dentition. Strong bone, straight front with decent angulation both ends. Back a tad long, ending in high set on tail. Moved well coming and going.

Her beautiful headpiece caught my attention as soon as she entered the ring. Strong head with sweeping profile, plenty of fill and lovely depth of muzzle. Perfect mouth. Ears bang on top, wicked expression. Good reach of neck. Straight front, tidy feet. Correct bone and substance for the size. Short back slightly rising over the croupe and ending in a well set on tail that never stopped wagging. Decent rear angulation. Moved parallel both ways. BB, BOB, BIS

Quality substantial white bitch. Long head with a classic profile. Small, dark eye and correct ear set giving her a beautiful expression. Would like a touch more angulation in her shoulder. Straight front with strong pasterns into tight cat feet. Good depth of brisket. Level topline. Decent rear angulation. Strong bone. Moved OK both ways. Expertly handled.

Very substantial white girl with plenty of bone. Long head with delicate profile and correct dentition. Lovely reach of neck into back that could be a tad shorter. Strong, deep brisket with enough tuck up. Tail set on and carried a touch too high. Well angulated front and rear resulted in a lovely parallel movement.

Elegant and compact white girl. Long head with smooth profile, could use a touch more depth of muzzle. Perfect mouth. Lovely length of neck, slight dip behind the withers. Straight front with strong pasterns and beautiful cat feet. Short back with high set on tail. Plenty of rear angulation. Would like a bit more substance. Moved true in the front, a touch narrow behind.

Powerful head with decent profile and correct dentition. A touch kind in the eye. Straight front into tidy feet. Good depth of brisket with a decent tuck up. A shade long cast. Correct set on of tail. Moved with drive from her well angulated dipping slightly behind the withers. Well handled.

Lovely depth of brisket with a nice tuck up. Short back with a slight rise over the loin. Correct set on tail. Excellent bone and substance. Moved wider in front than in the rear. Expertly handled.

Long reach of neck, straight front, deep forechest and well laid shoulder. Level topline, slightly dips behind the withers on the move, nicely angulated stifle. Would like a tad more substance. Moved well coming, close behind.

Top quality 8 year old white boy I am very familiar with. Now in his later years but still retaining the majority of his excellent virtues. Beautiful sweeping profile, deep and filled head. Ears bang on top. Bite consistent with his age. Long reach of neck, straight front. Decent shoulder and deep brisket. Holding topline on the move, gently roaching over the loin into a correctly set on tail. Well bent stifle. Moved well for his age coming and going. Handled to perfection and showing himself off like the pro he is.

Deep brisket, good tuck up. Strongly muscled second thigh and a well bent stifle. Moved wide coming, correct in the rear.
